This Privacy Policy also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you regarding your personal information.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal information.

Contact and Identifying Information

This may include your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, account information, and other information you provide to us.

Order and Transaction Information

We collect information about products you purchase, orders, subscriptions, returns, refunds, discounts, transaction history, shipping information, and other interactions with Glotrition.

Payment Information

When you make a purchase, payment information is processed by Shopify and/or our payment processors. We generally do not directly store complete credit or debit card numbers.

Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect your login information, account preferences, subscription information, purchase history, and other information associated with your account.

Communications

We may collect information you provide when you contact customer service, submit a form, participate in a survey, write a review, communicate with us through social media, or otherwise contact Glotrition.

Marketing Preferences

We may maintain information about your preferences for email, SMS/text messages, postal mail, and other marketing communications, including records of opt-ins and opt-outs.

Device and Internet Activity

When you use our Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, interactions with the Site, approximate location derived from your IP address, and other technical or usage information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, measure marketing effectiveness, personalize experiences, and support advertising.

You can control certain cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through privacy or cookie controls provided on our Site.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information about you from service providers, advertising and marketing partners, social media platforms, affiliate partners, payment processors, shipping providers, e-commerce platforms, and other third parties, as permitted by applicable law.

2. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

  • process, fulfill, ship, and manage purchases and subscriptions;
  • process payments, refunds, returns, and exchanges;
  • create and manage customer accounts;
  • provide customer service;
  • communicate with you about orders, subscriptions, accounts, or requests;
  • provide and improve our Site, products, services, and customer experience;
  • personalize content, product recommendations, and offers;
  • understand how customers interact with Glotrition;
  • conduct analytics and measure business and marketing performance;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual obligations;
  • protect the rights, property, security, and interests of Glotrition, our customers, and others;
  • conduct promotions, surveys, contests, loyalty programs, and similar activities;

  • otherwise use information for purposes disclosed to you when it is collected.

3. MARKETING AND DIRECT MAIL

We may use information about you, including your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, purchase history, product preferences, and interactions with Glotrition, to provide marketing communications and offers that we believe may interest you, as permitted by applicable law.

Postal Mail

We may use a mailing address provided in connection with an order, account, subscription, promotion, or other interaction with Glotrition to send promotional postal mail.

Postal marketing may include postcards, catalogs, product information, special offers, discount codes, samples, announcements, win-back offers, subscription offers, and other Glotrition marketing communications.

We may use information about your previous purchases or interactions with Glotrition to personalize these communications. For example, we may send information or offers relating to a product you previously purchased.

We may use service providers to print, address, process, and deliver postal marketing on our behalf.

Email Marketing

If you receive promotional email from us, you may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from promotional email applies to email marketing and does not automatically opt you out of postal mail or other marketing channels.

Even after you unsubscribe from marketing email, we may continue sending non-promotional communications such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, subscription notices, account communications, customer-service messages, and legally required notices.

SMS/Text Marketing

Where required, we obtain consent before sending marketing text messages. You may opt out of marketing text messages by following the instructions provided in those messages.

Opting out of SMS/text marketing applies to that marketing channel and does not automatically opt you out of postal mail or other marketing channels.

Postal Marketing Opt-Out

You may ask us to stop sending promotional postal mail at any time by contacting us at info@glotrition.com or 866-941-7669 and providing the name and mailing address you would like removed from our postal marketing list.

We may retain limited information necessary to maintain your opt-out preference and prevent future promotional mailings to that address.

Broader Marketing Requests

If you clearly request that Glotrition stop contacting you for marketing through all channels, we will treat the request as a broader marketing opt-out and honor it as required by applicable law.

Marketing preferences are generally channel-specific unless you request otherwise.

4. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may disclose personal information to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate our business, provide our products and services, or for other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

These recipients may include:

Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may disclose certain device, browsing, interaction, or other information to advertising and analytics partners to measure advertising effectiveness, understand audiences, or provide advertising.

Some state privacy laws may define certain advertising-related disclosures as “selling,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged. Where required by law, we provide consumers with the ability to opt out of these activities.

Professional Advisers

We may disclose information to accountants, attorneys, consultants, insurers, financial institutions, and other professional advisers.

Shopify processes information in accordance with its own privacy practices and applicable agreements with Glotrition.

Payment information may also be processed by Shopify or other payment processors according to their respective privacy and security practices.

6. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING

Some browsers and devices allow users to transmit privacy preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”). Where required by applicable law, we process recognized opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing products and services, maintaining customer and transaction records, managing subscriptions, complying with legal and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, and maintaining privacy preferences.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason we collected it.

When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law.

We may retain information necessary to document and honor privacy and marketing opt-out requests even after other personal information has been deleted.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords and account credentials associated with your Glotrition account.
