FloraGLO® Lutein: The Clinically Proven Lutein Brand
Summary of Human Clinical Trials, Morganti et al. 2002, 2004, 2008; Palombo et al. 2007; Rodriguez-Carmona et al. 2006.
In clinical studies of 20–30 female subjects, daily supplementation with 10mg of FloraGLO® Lutein was shown to deliver multiple skin and cellular benefits. Results demonstrated a significant decrease in Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) with a corresponding increase in skin hydration, elasticity, and lipids.
Supplementation also significantly reduced skin laxity, wrinkling, and roughness, while decreasing lipid peroxidation—helping to protect the skin from free radicals and oxidative stress, one of the leading causes of visible aging. Additionally, FloraGLO® Lutein was shown to help absorb and filter blue light, providing further protection against oxidative stress caused by digital devices and environmental light sources.
Sleep:
Study Overview
12-week, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial exploring the effects of low-dose Aloe sterols (~19 µg per day) on various skin health markers in healthy adult women (ages 30–55).
The Aloe sterols in Sleep significantly boost collagen content in the skin, supporting its structural integrity. This increase in collagen production helps maintain youthful and firm skin.
Key Findings
• Reduced Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) → Participants taking Aloe sterol exhibited a significant reduction in moisture loss through the skin barrier—meaning improved barrier function.
• Increased Skin Hydration → There was a notable boost in skin hydration compared to placebo. Especially impactful among those who started with dry skin.
•Enhanced Collagen Score → Ultrasound images revealed a significant increase in collagen content within the dermis in the Aloe sterol group.
Improved Skin Conditions
Reduced facial redness (erythema) and less itching (pruritus) on inner/outer arms.
