The holidays will be here before we know it and you know what that means – holiday parties, family get-togethers and pictures, lots and lots of pictures. Now is the perfect time to take a personal inventory and get ready to have picture-perfect holiday skin. What better inspiration than tips from the skin routines of some of our favorite celebs who have amazing, glowing skin?

 

Halle Berry

At 54, Halle Berry is the epitome of aging gracefully with beautiful skin that is always smooth and glowing. Her secret – consistency. Her skincare has been a big part of her regime since she was 16 years old and as she’s gotten older and busier, she makes sure to cleanse and moisturize her skin twice a day. “I never miss a day,” she shared on her Insta account when she took fans through her more luxurious 4-step routine which includes exfoliation and a mask. (She loves a good mask! In the video, she is seen using a hydration mask which she literally slaps onto her face, waking up skin cells.) 

 

She touts cleansing as the first step and most important one that everyone should be doing 2x a day. She starts with a gentle cleanser, rubbing her skin vigorously for at least 30 seconds and then follows that with an electric facial cleansing brush to penetrate the pores. Her tip – it’s crucial to always massage in upwards motions. Her final step is to moisturize – giving her skin a good drink. And she always wears sunscreen! She firmly believes if you’re skin looks good, everything else looks good – it’s your canvas.

From a family of Hollywood royalty, award winning actress Kate Hudson glows on the inside and out. Her infectious laugh is as well-known as her stunning skin. In recent years, she has also become active in the wellness industry launching her activewear brand Fabletics and partnering with WW. It’s obvious that wellness is important to her and is key to her beautiful complexion. She has fully embraced paying attention to how her skin reacts to weather and switches up her routine accordingly. The skincare steps that she never skips are taking her supplements, lip balm and eye cream. While her combination skin doesn’t always need moisturizing, she likes to give her eyes and lips a little love every day. And the most important skincare advice she’s ever received and believes in – drink water and get sleep! She has found that when her skin is not feeling great, it’s usually because she’s dehydrated. She believes it doesn’t matter what you put on your skin if you’re not drinking enough water or getting enough sleep. 

 

 

Lisa Pineiro

And our personal inspiration, Glotrition founder and boss babe, Lisa Pineiro. It only makes sense that she has amazing skin, but she works hard to keep it that way.
