In this double-blind, placebo controlled clinical study, 105 women ages 25-50 with moderate cellulite were randomized to receive a daily dose of 2,500mg of Bioactive Collagen Peptide (the same amount found in the Super Beauty Elixir) or a placebo over a six-month period. Their degree of cellulite including skin waviness and dermal density was evaluated before starting the trial as well as at the 3- and 6-month mark of taking the treatment. In this study, the Bioactive Collagen Peptide treatment led to a statistically significant decrease in the degree of cellulite as well as a reduced skin waviness on the thighs of normal weight women. And dermal density was also markedly improved compared to those who received the placebo.
Based on the results of the study, scientists concluded that long-term therapy with an orally administered BCP – like Glotrition’s Super Beauty Elixir – leads to an improvement in the appearance of cellulite as well as an overall positive impact on skin health.
